DESCRIPTION:
Our KX-2 NPNG weighs under 70 grams and measures at just 5.2cm X 2.6cm X 4cm, making it 20% lighter and 40% smaller than our previous K-Series Camera. Boasting excellent performance when capturing low-light footage, the KX-2 allows you to shoot crystal clear videos even in fading light, increasing the length of your photoshoots and recording sessions. Using the Ambarella A12 Chipset model, the KX-2 shoots 4K footage at 30 fp/s. The KX-2 also has settings to enable broadcast quality video capture for professional and prosumer use.
The KX-2 comes with a wide variety of photo modes, whilst capturing stills perfectly at 12MP. The photo burst mode allows you to take up to 10 photos per second, ideal when trying to achieve the perfect action shot. Photo interval shooting enables you to continuously take timed photos from 1-60 seconds, allowing you to capture a variety of your greatest action moments over a period of time. Another feature is the 180 degree rollover which allows you to playback footage the right way up, even if you capture the footage with the camera upside down. G-sensor auto-start also features, which allows you to set your KX-2 to start recording from a movement of the camera. A popular feature from our previous camera ranges, the easily interchangeable battery, has also been retained.
The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 1050mAh, allowing up to 2 hours of recording time, which can easily be extended by the use of multiple batteries. With a built-in 1.8” LCD screen, the KX-2 gives you the opportunity to playback footage and change menu settings with use. The LCD screen can also be used as a viewfinder, giving you the option to further enhance the quality of footage you capture. The KX-2 is shipped in the trademark Muvi rugged carry case, perfect for travelling with your camera. Box Contents for the KX-2 NPNG includes a spacious 32GB memory card, giving you plenty of room to store all footage you have captured that day. Also included is a waterproof case, enabling dives of up to 40m and has operational buttons for video control and photo capture underwater.
The Waterproof case comes with an additional back door which can be easily interchanged, this enables you to fully operate the LCD touch screen whilst using the case on-land, however when using this back door the case is not fully waterproof. The KX-2 NPNG also comes with a helmet mount, giving you a stable base to capture extreme footage. Additional supplied accessories include a quick release frame for camera protection when not in the waterproof case, curved and flat adhesive mounts, USB cables, anti-fog inserts, lens cloth, decals and a product user manual. With a 60m wireless range, you can connect and pair with your smartphone whilst recording footage on your KX-2. The Free Muvi App (Available on Android and iOS) allows you to connect your KX-Series camcorder wirelessly to your smartphone so that you can now stream videos your smartphone or tablet from your KX-2. You can also record videos and take photos and share these through email, Twitter and more.
